Hola from Valencia
It’s our eighth day here in Spain and everyone is doing well except for defender Samuela Kautoga and striker Abbu Zahid who are carrying minor injuries.

According to Dr Ronal Kumar, the duo should be fit in two or three days.

The boys went through a light warm up, structure, rotational passing and shooting session in the morning.

In the afternoon as usual, the boys had gym and pool session.

The weather here in the day is warm and it’s cold in the evening.

Team director Tarunesh Reddy is pleased with the commitment, dedication and determination shown by the players.

“We are here to learn and gain more experience which I think is the right step towards preparing for Rio,” Reddy said.

Development here starts at 7 and it is amazing to see the style of football the kids play here. One thing I’ve seen are the parents on the sideline cheering for their kids and supporting them.

This is why Spain is so far ahead in football. We’ve just started our development centres around the country and I am sure in years to come, football in Fiji will reach greater heights. Remember us in your prayers, until tomorrow, Moce Viti.
