First Lady In Vehicle Accident

The official Government vehicle transporting the First Lady, Sarote Konrote, tumbled at Berkeley Crescent near Government House at about 9:30am yesterday.

The Office of the President has confirmed that Mrs Konrote and a Government House staff member who accompanied her were not injured.

The President’s office also confirmed the First Lady, the staff member and the driver underwent medical checks after the accident.

An assessment of the extent of the damage to the First Lady’s official vehicle is in progress and

Police are also investigating the cause of the accident.
