We Need To Work Overtime: PM

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says Government is working overtime to address water and road needs in the rural areas.
He made the remarks to civil servants of Nadroga-Navosa at Talenavuruvuru in last night.
He said the Government has to speed up infrastructure development to stimulate development and economic growth.
“There are still a lot of water problems in the area and not forgetting the roads,” he said.
Mr Bainimarama added there were schools that were facing lack of water forcing them to close down at 10am.
He said that the area of Kavanasagau would be assisted in haste.
“We have to cart water, or make boreholes to assist people in that area. We cannot afford to hear or see people do not have clean drinking water. There is just a lot to be done.
“We have to work overtime, we are putting a lot of money on our roads. I see digging along the highways and a lot is needed to fix things quickly especially for our children.”
