Nasinu Water Cuts, WAF Calls For Patience
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) is calling on the people of Nasinu and nearby areas to be patient as engineers continue repairs at the Kings Road Booster Pump at Tovata.
Consumers had been facing intermittent water cuts since Tuesday.
WAF has apologised to all its customers saying the disruption was because of a technical problem in its bulk supply and reticulation system at Tovata.
Engineers had been working tirelessly to repair the pump and remove air locks from the pipe system to restore normal water supply to Kalabu, Nadera, Valelevu, Makoi and nearby areas, WAF said.
WAF, meanwhile said the repairs would continue today.
Water carting will also continue in affected areas.
