Tokoriki Island Resort, Fiji has been voted #16 in the top 25 hotels in the world for 2016 by TripAdvisor.

The resort represented as the only hotel-resort in Australasia  in the shortlist, along with being heralded as  #1 Top Hotel in the South Pacific and once again the #1 Top Hotel in Fiji.

This honour is awarded to the top one per cent of all hotels on TripAdvisor, based on reviews and opinions from millions of travellers.

Now in its 15th year, the annual TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards honour the world’s best hotels, earning their accolades from real travellers.

Resort general manager, Robert Ring, said: “We strive to ensure our guest experience at Tokoriki Island Resort is truly memorable.

“It is such a pleasure to receive these awards especially from our guests who enjoy and share the Tokoriki essence with future travellers.

“Gaining this world-wide recognition further enables Tokoriki Island Resort to lead the way for global travellers to venture to our idyllic and friendly Fiji islands.”

Mr Ring said the returning guest ratio is very high at Tokoriki with a couple recently returning for their 42nd visit which is a true testament to the wonderful Tokoriki team.

It’s a celebration year for The Turnbull family who are absolutely thrilled with the latest accolades after proudly announcing 20 years of ownership of Tokoriki Island Resort.

To ensure the resort is kept to the standard expected from guests after achieving top hotel awards, over the next few weeks the resort is undergoing a stunning refurbishment whilst maintaining the resort’s current Fijian architecture.

Guests will be welcomed mid February with a new look and feel.
