The Vodafone Fijian 7s side defeated Japan 45 – 7 in their opening pool match.
The boys looked sharp in both defence and attack.
Vatemo Ravouou displayed his side-stepping skills after running past two to three Japanese players before crossing the tryline.
At half-time, Fiji led 21 – 7.
Ben Ryan congratulated the boys maintaining”one man, one tackle – excellent, move forward.”
The side ran in eight tries, with Semi Kunatani sealing the final one.
Fiji will play Wales at 2.38pm.
