Northern Division will have its first auto gas station next month.

It will be situated beside Basrath Din Service Station at Y-Corner, Nasekula Street in Labasa.

Managing Director of the service station, Saifud Din said this was a $300,000 investment.

Mr Din popularly known by the name Titi is a visionary business-man who has invested in various kinds of businesses in Vanua Levu.

“I decided to invest into this auto gas station because I saw there was a great need,” Mr Din said.

“There are eight vehicles in Labasa that use gas and they always drive down to Malau which is outside Labasa town to get gas filled for their vehicles.

“My auto gas station will be easily accessible since it will be situated beside my service station at Y-Corner.

“My family and I have been operating this service station for over 20 years.

Therefore, operating an auto gas station beside my service station would not be a challenge.”

“It will be more beneficial to me, my customers and people who wish to refill gas in their vehicle,” he said.

“We are into completing last stage of work and within few weeks we will open the station.

“I am sure that there will be more vehicles arriving in Labasa that will need gas refill and my auto gas station will be available to provide much needed efficient service.”
