Under-16 League For Rewa

The Rewa Football Association will introduce the Under-16 League this season.
This was decided during annual general meeting (AGM) at Saraswati Primary School yesterday.
Association’s president Nazeel Buksh said they were aiming to develop more future national reps as well as players for their clubs.
“We decided to have an U16 League which will basically for any community, school or club-based teams.
“We’ve already had our U18, U19 and U20 teams but now we want to take it another step and start development of players from a younger age.
“We want to see football grow and develop at a tender age, we have had this idea for a long time and it is nice to have it finally happen.
“The AGM turned out really well, we had around 80 per cent turnout and it was positive as all the coaches were happy with what we discussed.”
