An investment of $1.5 million in modern apartment units will soon start taking shape in the famous Vunivivi Hills in Nausori Town.

The development is being undertaken by businessman Satendra Nath, who runs the Wishbone/Pizza King franchise in Nausori.

The construction of the apartment consisting of 28 units is expected to commence late next months and it is expected the apartments will be operational before year end.

The proposed apartment site is located just few metres from the new Nausori Market and Bus Stand.

Mr Nath said: “As the developer, I have full faith in Nausori economy and wish to contribute positively.

“I have been managing my Wishbone Nausori for the past 10 years plus and an entertainment zone. I feel time is right to further progress developments in this vibrant historical town.”

Mr Nath believes the proposed apartments will add value to the Nausori economy as accommodation facilities to cater for people wanting to spend time at Nausori.

This would be for the purpose of recreation including watching games at Ratu Cakobau Park or meeting schedule of flights from Nausori Airport which is a 5 minute drive away from the location.

People can also visit historical sites at Nausori and the surroundings and other recreation facilities shall be focussed areas.

Mr Nath confirmed he has planned a few more projects for Nausori which will be launched consecutively.

Mr Nath returned to Fiji 10 years ago after spending 20 years in Australia and started the Wishbone/Pizza King franchise in Nausori.

He also then opened Bridge Nighclub and the Air Cafe at the Nausori International Airport.

He is originally from Rakiraki and comes from a farming background.

Mr Nath said he also foresees the potential of Nausori Town and therefore took the decision to start development early.
