FNPF Resumes SMS Services

Good news for FNPF members who are registered SUPERTxt users.  The Fund has resumed its free mobile SMS service that allows members to get their balances once a month through SMS or text messaging services. The SUPERTxt service was disabled following the upgrading of the Fund’s information technology system.

The Fund’s Chief Operating Officer, Jaoji Koroi said the SUPERTxt service is a member-oriented service and the resumption of this service is a commitment by the Fund to ensure members continue to access information about their accounts regularly.

Mr. Koroi said: “We’re confident that the resumption of the SUPERTxt service will further enhance interactions between the Fund and our members as we continue to bring our services closer to our members.

“It would also ensure that our members receive vital information about their FNPF accounts with ease through their mobile phones.”

He added: “This, in turn, saves them costs and time of having to visit the Fund’s branch to access their account information.”

Members can effectively use this free SUPERTxt service to;

n Watch their retirement savings grow every month with ease on their mobile phones

nEnsure that their FNPF contributions are paid by their employer (i.e. if your balance does not change the previous month’s then you can enquire with the FNPF or your employer whether your contributions were paid or not)

nAscertain whether their FNPF contributions was posted in their account (your contributions may have been paid but may have not been directed to your account – this will enable you and the FNPF to address any anomalies that may arise from unidentified contributions)

Members who wish to access this service, must register filling the SUPERTxt Registration Form (Form 3S) to register their personal mobile numbers and provide a valid photo ID (passport or FNPF or Joint ID Card, Driver’s License or Electronic Voter Card) for verification.

This form can be accessed on the Fund’s website, www.myfnpf.com.fj
