52 Marijuana Plants Uprooted From Nadroga Farm

The Drugs Operation team of Sigatoka Police Station uprooted 52 green plants believed to be marijuana from a farm outside Korolevu Village in Nadroga.

The raid took place after a tip-off.  Police have yet to determine who owns the farm.

Investigations continue into the above raid and the plants have been sent for analysis.

A statement from Police said: “We will continue to raid farms that may be cultivating marijuana and bring to task

those that continue to break the law upon this cultivation.”
