The Vuda $15 million drug bust accused appeared before Justice Thushara Rajasinghe at the Lautoka High Court yesterday.

The first accused, an Australian national, Nayef Abourizk, was represented by lawyer Una Baleilevuka while the second accused, Josese Moroiwaqa, who was initially represented by lawyer Mark Anthony was represented by lawyer Laisani Tabakoro.

They are charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs contrary to Section 5 (a) of the Illicit Drugs Control Act, 2004.

The Court ordered the counsel to provide full information about the accused and to be more specific with the voir dire grounds.

The court heard that the matter was for extension of remand warrant for both the accused persons.

Justice Rajasinghe ordered for the matter to be called on February 9 for mention.
