Effective immediately, Evergreen will only be trading as Wormald Fire & Security and Guardforce in the Fijian market.

This follows the Evergreen Capital Group of Companies expanding its portfolio of global businesses with the acquisition of Wormald Australia. The transaction was completed on January 29.

With this latest acquisition, Evergreen Fire & Security will change its name to Wormald Fire & Security in line with our strategic focus and specialisation.

Evergreen International general manager Fiji, Athil Narayan, said: “There is no change to the Guardforce Fiji operations or brand which shall continue to operate as a division of Wormald Fire & Security.

“This is an exciting time for our business as we gain more direct access to deliver world class fire protection solutions and products to the local marketplace.”

Mr Narayan said the name change and transition to Wormald Fire & Security will be seamless and very much business as usual.

“We are committed to supporting and growing the Fiji business, which will continue to be managed by the existing local management,” he said.
