Telecom Fijian Warriors manager Dan Domoni advices local players to secure overseas contracts for a positive future.

“We the management will try our best to provide an environment with our local players so that it gives them a positive reinforcement to keep on working hard.

“Sometimes with our local boys they know this is as far as they can go and I always try and push them telling them to work hard to be part of the Warrior side,” Domoni said.

Two national U20 reps are being selected to be part of the Telecom Fijian Warriors side, Asaeli Sorovaki and Kaveni Dabenaise.

“There is a new culture we would like to build from now, from under 20 we will push them up to national team that will provide the challenge to the senior players who are already part of the team,” Domoni said.

The Fijian Warriors began their preparation for the World Rugby Pacific Challenge during festive season and trials will be held tomorrow at Bidesi Park, Suva.

Fiji will host the World Rugby Pacific Challenge at the ANZ stadium on March 8-21.
