3 Chinese Nationals Front Court
Three Chinese nationals charged with money laundering appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.
Wang Hannan, Xuhuan Yang and Guangwu Wang appeared before Magistrate Waleen George.
The charges were supposed to be read out in court, however because the accused only understood a little English, the court has ordered an interpreter to be present on the next court date.
The Defence lawyer made an application for bail, however the State requested for a formal bail application.
Magistrate George has given defence until 4pm today to file a formal bail application.
She has also given a week to the State to respond to this application before the bail hearing next Friday.
All three accused have been further remanded in custody.
