Dr Ram Lakhan Memorial Primary School in Nasinu conducted its prefect induction yesterday.
School prefects, class captains, library monitors, road patrol teams, the headboy, headgirl and their deputies were inducted by the chief guest, Dr Keshwan Nadan of Makoi Medical Centre.
Shivneel Raj Charan, who has been a prefect for the last four years and last year’s deputy headboy is the school headboy for 2016.
“I have been dreaming for this for the past two years and I am excited and honoured to be the headboy of Dr Ram Lakhan Memorial Primary School,” he said.
Headgirl Natasha Vancita Prasad said: “I am proud that the teachers have chosen me as the school headgirl.”
