20 Players Camp For PNC
Fiji Football Association has named a 20- member senior national squad in preparation for the Pacific Nations Cup 2016.
Team director/ Fiji FA vice-president Tarunesh Reddy said the national team will march into camp together with the national U23 team next week.
“We have named a 20 member squad for the seniors but we will also eye some U23 players,”Reddy said.
“We need to plan well as we have a very busy schedule for our national teams this year.
‘We will do our best to prepare our teams to be competitive.
Reddy said the first camp will be on February 15-27 at the Fiji Football Academy in Ba.
“We understand that Suva and Nadi will be preparing for the OFC Champions League so we will have three camps.
“The second camp will be on April 4-16 and the final camp is set for April 25.”
Fiji is in Pool B with New Zealand, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu and plays its first match on May 29 in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
