Qiliho Hails Fantasy Road Development Projects

Another milestone was achieved at the Real Estate Development in Nadi.
This came after the Commissionerof Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho
opened of the Fantasy Road Business ParkDevelopment’s new sales offi ce on Fantasy Island on Friday.
This marks the stepping stone towardsanother goal to increase development andbusiness opportunities in Nadi.
Brigadier-General Qiliho congratulatedthe partnership between businessmen Anwar Hussein and Altaaf Jamal for their commitment in contributing towards the economy’s growth.
Mr Qiliho said yesterday marked a new dawn in the real estate industry which will bring inmore local and international investors.
He added the area had changed a lot as he used to visit with the RFMF colleagues for night exercises.
“There were no houses back then. Only swampy areas and vacant lots.“Anwar and Altaaf, congratulations for putting together this partnership.
“The Government has done a lot for the investors and the people but it is the locals that are playing key roles as well,” he said.
Fantasy Road Business Park Development Project co-director Anwar Hussein said they had been running their respective businesses
for the last 20 years before the recent merge.
Mr Hussein said: “When the demand wentup we had to open another company to cater for the ever growing Chinese market and
formed joint venture especially with a major partner like Altaaf Jamal.”
Together their partnership has seen a boost of Fantasy Road Business Park Limited, and the Fantasy Road Industry Park limited.
He said: “We worked on one sub-division last year and it was a 100 percent sold out.
This year we started Fantasy Industrial Park which is nearing completion.
“Fantasy Industrial Park development will start within three months with two front commercial lots and 34 Residential Lots.” He added:
“The prices for the Residential Lots will range from $120,000 and commercial from $350,000 exclusive of 9 per cent vat,”
The projects have seen an investment of more than $3 million alone to initiate.
Mr Hussein said: “There is limited Residential and Commercial and Industrial development lots along the new Denarau link Road and the developers have are taking advantage.”
