The Fiji Muslim Youth Movement last week received stationery and a multi-media projector worth $2000 from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

While handing over the assistance at the Fiji Muslim League headquarters in Samabula, Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou said the donated items should be used to further the capacity building programmes undertaken by the youth movement.

“The donation is a token of appreciation from the Ministry in recognition of all that you try to do for your youths and although it may look small, it is a demonstration of gratitude,” said Mr Tuitubou.

He told to the members of the Fiji Muslim Youth Movement that Government treated all requests which were forthcoming from youths with urgency and diligence.

Fiji Muslim Youth Movement general secretary Imran Jannif said the donation would improve the leadership workshops being conducted by their youth movement.

“The multi-media projector will surely enhance the quality of our programme facilitation in the future as we strive to contribute to the formation of our future leaders through our youth camps and workshops,” Mr Jannif said.
