Hibiscus Events Group Committee Aims To Donate More

The Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus 2015 Charity Chest distributed more than $70,000 to 13 Non-Government Organizations last Saturday.

Hibiscus Events Group Chairman Hirdesh Prasad said the Committee aims to donate more for different organisations through sponsors.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), received more than $13,000. Underprivileged School Students were given more than $19,000. Saint Mina Children’s home in Nadi was handed more than $8000 while Fiji Scouts Association received more than $7000.

Both Saint Vincent De Paul and WOWs Kids Cancer Society received more than $5000 each, Samabula Senior Citizens Home was donated $5000 while Haus of Khameleon received $3500.

Yaadein Vision from Nadi received $3000 while Father Law Home, Veilomani Boys Home in Ba and Babasiga Ashram from Labasa received more than $900 each.Edited by Cathy Balenagaga
