The Secretary-General to Parliament Viniana Namosimalua issued a statement this afternoon to explain why Parliament did not sit:
“The Government Buildings which house the Parliament Precincts has been experiencing power fluctuations and intermittent power supply which would disrupt the sitting.
“The Fiji Electricity Authority would be given time to rectify the fault today and Parliament will resume tomorrow at 9.30 a.m,” she said.
