Tomasi Katonivualiku was shocked when he was informed by Value City (SP) Limited management that he has won a trip to Brisbane, Australia.

The 45-year-old works as an operation co-ordinator at Fiji Port Terminal Limited. He lives with his wife and two daughters at Caubati, Nasinu.

Mr Katonivualiku took part in Value City’s ‘Vodafone Sub Channel’ texting promotion.

“I will be visiting Brisbane for the first time and I am so happy,” he said.

Mr Katonivualiku said he texted ‘Value City’ less than four times.

“I have been a customer for Value City for the last 25 years.”

Value City managing director Vera Chute said: “This promotion was part of our 25th Anniversary celebration and thanks to their customers.”

Their promotion started last November and ended on January 26, this year and received more than 5000 entries.
