New School Heads Eager

Shomal Shiushita Prasad and Krishna Kartik Kumar of Central College Lautoka were happy when they were chosen and bestowed with the responsibility of head prefects yesterday.
Both echoed the same sentiments that they would take on the role with utmost responsibility and were looking forward to 2016 academic year.
“This is a proud moment for me to be given such an opportunity,” Shomal said.
“Given the role of being the headgirl, I will try my best to be a student leader who leads by example.”
The headboy said that he would try to balance both his education and responsibilities as his new role will come as a challenge.
“I have been part of the student council from Form Three (Year Nine), therefore balancing my academic career with my responsibility will not be that difficult but challenging at times,” Kumar said.
“My academic career will always be my priority and I will try my level best to attain good results like in the past.”
A total of 25 school prefects were inducted yesterday with 28 form captains, three deputy headboys and three deputy headgirls.
