Man Dies In Taveuni, Not Woman: Police

And man in custody over the road death
A 20-year-old man, who was alleged to have been involved in road accident in Taveuni last Friday night where a 22-year-old man was killed, is still in Police custody.
This was confirmed by Fiji Police Force spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri yesterday.
Based on their earlier reports that a woman named Vilisi Sukaiverata, had died at the scene, Police have since clarified that a man named Orisi Taylor was in fact the vicitm.
Yesterday’s report was based on information given by the Police.
Inspector Sokomuri said: “Orisi Taylor, died in this accident at Dromoninuku, Southern Coastal Road in the island.
“They were returning from a birthday party when the vehicle plunged down a cliff before landing in a creek at around 10pm last Friday night.
“We are yet to establish the cause of the accident,” he said.
A post-mortem examination on the vicitm would be conducted today, Police said.
