A 40-year-old woman is in a stable condition at the Sigatoka Hospital after being allegedly stabbed by her husband.
Police Inspector Josaia Waicavu said the alleged incident happened at around 3pm in Namada Village along the Coral Coast.
“Police are investigating an alleged stabbing incident in Namada village in Nadroga where a knife was used,” he said.
“There was one alleged stab wound on the woman, both were under DVRO (Domestic Violence Restraining Order). The suspect is still at large.”
