Suva Adamant

Suva will be looking for another win in their second game as they face newcomers Dreketi in round two of the Vodafone Premier League on Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
Coach Gurjit Singh says though another win is important, they aare expecting a tough battle from Dreketi.
“We are definitely not taking Dreketi lightly. We drew last year in the Inter-District Championship and they beat Lautoka.
“I am sure after losing to Labasa, they will be wanting to get back on track and win. So I have no doubt that they will be putting on a good performance,” Singh said.
With Poasa Bainivalu out of the squad due to a red card in the game against Rewa, Singh said his absence will not be an issue as he is looking to include new players.
“It will not affect us with Poasa (Bainivalu) out of the team because we have capable players who can take his spot like Antonio Tuivuna.”
The red card conceded in Suva’s first game was a wakeup call for the team to play with discipline.
“Discipline is important and that is something that we are sticking to because having a player sent off can be a game changer and we do not want that to happen,” Singh said.
