Nine people have lost their lives on our roads this year.

Who are they?

They have left behind their families; they had promising careers; they had a full life ahead of them. But, all this came to an end.

They died after someone lost control of the car they were driving; they died after someone was overspeeding. They died.

They are not mere statistics in Police files. They should not be forgotten. People should not be losing their lives on our roads. And we should not be taking these incidents so lightly.

Stop speeding; stop driving dangerously, before you end up on these pages as the tenth person to have lost his or her life this year. It could be anyone.

These deaths should not go in vain.
