Vodafone Fijian Under-20 rugby head coach Salimoni Ravouvou has laid down the challenge as they prepare for the 2016 World Rugby U20 Championships.

The tournament  will be held in Zimbabwe on April 19 to May 1.

Ravouvou is working on the fitness level of his 40-member extended squad.

“The players have been going through their daily training to improve their fitness levels,” Ravouvou said.

He was impressed with some players who had  joined the senior national teams.

Players like Kaveni Dabenaise who has joined the Vodafone Fijian 7s squad, duo Asaeli Sorovaki and Vasikali Mudu have joined the Telecom Fijian Warriors squad.

“This shows hard work.”

Ravouvou also commended his   management pack.

“We have the likes of former reps like Viliame Gadolo, Kele Leawere and scrum coach Allan Muir who will assist us for Zimbabwe,” he added. The squad march into camp next month
