Leadership Traits

Nasinu Muslim Primary School head teacher Mohammed Taiyaz Hussein highlighted traits they saw while appointing their school prefects and heads.

“We look at their hard work, academic excellence, discipline and attendance when we appoint prefects and heads for our school and they should have all these traits in them to be selected,” Mr Hussein said.

He said being a leader required great responsibility that must be taken seriously and diligently. Headboy Titus Ali, was surprised to be appointed but proud to lead the school.

“I thank my teachers for having faith in me with such an important responsibility,” Titus said.

Chief guest, station officer at the Nakasi  Community Post, Bramhanand Chetty, urged the students to work hard and accept challenges.  Edited by Paula Tuvuki
