Sauduadua Sets Target

Kameli Sauduadua has laid down the challenge ahead of the 2016 Coca-Cola Games.
The Year 12 student is a gold medal prospect for Ratu Kadavulevu School.
“Last year we started late with our preparation,”he said.
“We’re taking a different approach this year to preparing ourselves well.”
He made his Ma’afu House proud during the school’s inter-house athletics competition yesterday winning the intermediate boys 400m final clocking 52.09sec.
The Naweni, Savusavu native won gold in the junior boys 400m, 800m and 4x400m relay in the Coca-Cola Games last year.
Sauduadua said it would be tough competing in the intermediate grade this year
“I know there are other good athletes from other schools but that will not take away my goal in trying to win gold for my school,”he said.
“I’m working really hard to do my school and family proud.”
Sauduadua, who has maternal links to Malabi, Wainibuka, Tailevu, believes having the right diet will be key in his preparation.
“It’s very important to eat the right food during training.
