Reality Check For Dreketi
Dreketi goal keeper Ronald Kumar fails to stop the goal that was put in by Sakaraia Naisua of Fortech Suva during the Vodafone Premier League.

Dreketi assistant coach Rishi Prasad said playing two games in a short amount of time will not be easy for the fledgling side.

But they hope to do their best the third round of the Vodafone Premier League.

“The weather has not been good and that may hinder our performance but we are hoping to at least put in a good performance,” Prasad said.

“We are really learning a lot by playing against top teams especially coming all he way from Vanua Levu. So we hope to go back home and work on what we have learnt

Dreketi is still in Suva after they lost 6-2 to Suva on Friday.

Meanwhile, Rewa coach Marika Rodu is grateful all games scheduled for today has been cancelled.

“It is in the best interest of the players that the games be cancelled because of the weather,” Rodu said.

“While the game might be important, players have their own their families and they need to be with their loved ones and looking after them.

“This weather can bring a lot of damage and it would be good to ease the players’ minds and keep them at home rather than out on the field.
