5 Jetties Remain Closed: FRA Status Report

This situation report is to advise of the status of FRA’s assets due to the effect of STC Winston as at 4pm Monday February 222016.

Northern Division is currently experiencing communications difficulty and FRA are only able to get sketchy information at present for roads in and around Savusavu and Nabouwalu.

Limited communication with some Eastern division Islands is hindering FRA’s ability to ascertain damage.

The following is a summary of main roads/assets and their status.

Fallen trees have closed roads throughout all divisions and isolated flooding is occurring. FRA’s contractors are currently clearing all main roads and emergency service access roads then will be concentrating on feeder roads to ensure access is restored.
