With the aim to continuously improve their customer service, Courts (Fiji) Limited yesterday held a product enhancement training with one of their suppliers.

Kaaz Company representatives, Hiroaki Tao and Shuhei Aoyama are here to train Courts (Fiji) Limited staff regarding the Kaaz and Mitsubishi lawn mowers and brush cutters.

They were accompanied by Sanyo Yamamura, the managing director for Shinyo Koeki (Trading Company).

The training was held at Southern Cross Hotel yesterday.

27 sales representatives from the East, West and North attended the training.

They are now equipped with knowledge to assist customers with their purchase decisions of Kaaz and Mitsubishi lawn mowers and brush cutters.

Holus Toaisi Tuivaga, Courts (Fiji) Limited assistant training manager said this is a technical training for the staff, where they get to learn technical aspects of these products from assembling to servicing.

“It’s important that our people are fully equipped with this knowledge so that they can serve and attend better to the customers.”

Staff members were shown how to dismantle and assemble the products.

The training aims to add value to customer’s shopping experience with Courts.

Courts Marketing director, Anil Senewiratne said: “The idea is to further customer confidence shopping at courts and to enhance customer shopping experience.

“Customers can walk into any courts stores with confidence and meet our friendly staff for advice to make a delighting purchase decisions that will help all walks of life.

“Training and development is a constant thing. The development of technology is always changing.

“One of the key factors to providing customer service is product knowledge to support the customers purchase decision.

Mr Senewiratne said the one day programme was a success and is looking forward to what their sales reps will show their customers.

“They would be quite confident about all these products, how easily it works and how to manage these products especially the brush cutters and lawn mowers.”

More plans

Mr Senewiratne also confirmed that Courts will be holding similar training for their staff members as part of their promise to their customers.

“The challenge is to keep up with the technology advancement. The training has to be that much faster with the change of technology.

“We have had so many training programmers in the past as well and we will be continuing to engage ourselves with overseas trainers to train our local staff to give the best to Fiji,” he said.
