Colgate-Palmolive (Fiji) Limited have donated toiletries to Fiji Red Cross Society to help people affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston.

The toiletry includes Colgate toothpaste, Colgate toothbrushes, supplies of Protex bathing soap, Fabuloso multi-purpose cleaner and Pacific Laundry soap bars.

Company general manager Alex Opie said: “The company hopes that these hygiene and cleaning supplies will assist those in most need during the post cyclone clean-up.”

He said over 33,000 items will be distributed in the coming days.

The Fiji Red Cross Society will deliver the donated items to the victims of Cyclone Winston, mostly to those in the outer islands and other parts of the country.

Fiji Red Cross national president Cathy Wong thanked Colgate-Palmolive for the timely donation.

Meanwhile, teams from the Fiji Red Cross Society are already on the ground distributing relief supplies to victims of the cyclone.
