FHL Group Companies Combine To Help With Cyclone Relief

With the combined effort from the Fijian Holdings Group, they are contributing more than just cash towards cyclone relief.

In addition to a cash donation of $10,000, FHL group is contributing 10,000 concrete blocks through Basic Industries Limited and 50 tonnes of cement from Pacific Cement.

Fiji Television Limited are contributing more than $20,000 worth of advertisement slots.

FHL Properties and Fund Management are providing more than 100 cartons of dry rations.

Standard Concrete has distributed approximately $10,400 worth of food rations to affected villages and communities in Wailotua, Lodoni and Dawasamu area where some of its operations are based.

FHL owned RB Patel Group is providing dry rations in partnership with Salvation Army and the Rotary Club of Suva.

South Sea cruises through its flagship program “Vinaka Fiji” is planning to bring volunteers in the coming months to provide skilled services to affected areas.

The company said this may be through professional services such as carpentry and plumbing.

Group chief executive, Nouzab Fareed says it is a time to act rather than talk.

He said we need to give back to those communities that need our assistance.

“We are certain that as Fijians, we will stand united at the time of need and shape our future.”
