Fiji Airways Backs Campaign

Fiji remains a great holiday destination.
Fiji Airways General Manager-Marketing, Franc Zvonar stressed this during the meeting of the Tourism Action Group (TAG) and the stakeholders at Tanoa International Hotel Nadi yesterday.
The meeting was to allow key representatives from each sector within the Tourism Industry to tell of their respective platforms to encourage tourists to still come to Fiji.
Mr Zvonar said: “As a nation, tourism is very much open for business.”
He said with modern marketing and digital marketing generated content, it’s a powerful way to sell our product brand.
“No matter what product category you operate in recommendation by family and friends are still the biggest purchase driver.
“We have some cancellation and that is not uncommon.
“By working with the industry we will reach new heights. Not just us as an Airline but the whole industry as a whole injecting income and cash into the economy is something that this cyclone is an opportunity to work closer.”
The initiative of TAG which is boosted by Tourism Fiji and Fiji Airways is one of the strategies.
“I have every bit of confidence about our approach individually and together,” he said.
The Tourism Action Group was activated following Cyclone Winston. It is chaired by Damend Gounder.
