Gospel High School is accommodating students of Ratu Kadavulevu School and Queen Victoria School while their schools are being rebuilt.

There are four students of QVS and one student of RKS enrolled while they wait for others to start attending school. Chris Lusibaea a Year 10 student originally from Malaita, Solomon Islands is comfortable being at Gospel High but is waiting for QVS to be renovated so he can continue his studies there.

“I want to experience a life of a boarder while I am in Fiji,” Chris said.

The students are waiting for their school to be rebuilt so they can move back.

Maika Kama is happy with the way Gospel performs academically.

“I will stay in Gospel because they are very good academically and I feel I can grow in the school,” Maika said.

Principal Diana Nainoca was happy to receive students from QVS and RKS and is willing to allow them to complete their year in Gospel.

“If the students want to stay back in Gospel the school is happy to have them,” Mrs Nainoca said.
