Pleass Global, Rotarians Provide Relief

Pleass Global Limited and Rotary Club Suva took time to help people affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston in Tailevu.
About 40 members from more than 10 Rotary Clubs in Fiji and Interact Club volunteers who helped distribute the emergency response kits, food packs, water and clothes to people in Tailevu.
They donated assistance worth $250,000 to help those affected by the cyclone.
The chairman and managing director of Pleass Global Warwick Pleass is a Rotarian.
He led his staff members to help Rotary Club in providing the assistance to the villages.
Rotary New Zealand World Community Service representative Bob Niranjan said: “We have been involved in cyclones relief work over the last 10 years.”
Mr Niranjan said the food packs could sustain a family of four for up to one month.
