The Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, Semi Koroilavesau has delayed his trip for tomorrow due to shortage of tarpaulin and solar lights.

“We have run out of tarpaulin and portable solar lights to distribute to farmers,” he said.

Mr Koroilavesau said the distribution of tarpaulin and portable solar lights was supposed to be distributed yesterday to Malele sector 1, sector 2, sector 3 and Graham Pani sector 2 in the interior of Tavua.

“I have gone all the way to Suva because we need new supply of tarpaulin and portable solar lights, the relief tour has to be delayed until tomorrow because we also need to collect the details of farmers while giving out these two materials,” he said.

“We will go tomorrow since there are many farmers left to be visited in the inland of Malele village and Graham Pani in Tavua.”
