All Good: Ryan

The Vodafone Fijian 7s team remains adamant on the task in Las Vegas this weekend as they vowed to play with heavy hearts for all Fijians.

As defending champions, the onus is on the Ben Ryan-coached side to put smiles back on all Fijians faces as they work towards defending their title in Las Vegas.

Ryan said they were up for the challenge.

“It has obviously been a tragic time in Fiji and all of us are heartbroken from what happened.

“The team wants to go out here and do their very best this weekend,” Ryan said.

“The boys are fine, all good and slowly getting over jet lag.”

The side took time out on Wednesday night and enjoyed rides on the World’s tallest Ferris wheel.

The boys were going around at 550 feet above the lights, took selfies and photos and sang away as they ended the 30 minute journey, a perfect way for the guys to relax and unwind.

Fiji plays Samoa in their first game tomorrow at 1:19pm, then takes on France at 4:20pm and Argentina at 8:30am on Sunday.
