Lions won the 2016 Labasa College inter-house athletics competition yesterday.

Lions collected 13 gold, 5 silver and eight bronze medals.

Cheetahs finished second with 12 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, Dragons in third place with 11 gold, 1 silver and Scorpio in fourth place with 9 gold medals.

The Macuata Zone Two defending champion will be taking a holistic approach towards their preparation.

Athletics manager Roneel Ram said the school was concentrating first on the zone to defend their champion before the Coca-Cola Games.

He said Seaqaqa wo.uld be hosting the Zone Two.

“All the four houses Lions, Dragon, Cheetah, and Scorpio performed well.”
