A man believed to be under the influence of alcohol is in critical condition at the Lautoka Hospital after he jumped out of a vehicle near Qereqere along Valley Road, Sigatoka on Thursday night.
The 36-year-old man was alleged to be under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened.
According to Police spokesperson, Inspector Josaia Waicevu the man tried jump out of the vehicle he was travelling and ended up sustaining injuries.
“He was rushed to the Sigatoka Hospital by the same vehicle and later transferred to Lautoka Hospital,” he said.
Police investigations continue.
