The cost of Tropical Cyclone Winston damage on schools under the Fiji Muslim League stands at more than US$600,000 (F$1, 272, 268.57)in the Western Division.

However, the league will continue to provide assistance to people affected by TC Winston irrespective of religion or race.

“Apart from damage to school buildings; furniture, computers, laptops, interactive projectors, library, books, stationery and other electronic equipment were destroyed.

Schools devastated by the cyclone under the Fiji Muslim League in the Western Division were Dobuilevu Muslim Primary School, Rakiraki Muslim Primary School, Tavua Muslim Primary School, Varavu Muslim Primary School, Kamil Muslim College and Drasa Muslim Primary School.
