Ballantine Memorial School acknowledged their female staff by celebrating International Women’s Day with the theme “Acknowledging the efforts of women leaders”.

School principal Mitieli Ralesi showed appreciation for the work portrayed by the female staff in school and wanted to display his support for them by organising the function with assistance from the male staff.

“We want to show the females that we support them as female leaders in the school,” Mr Ralesi said.

“All male staff made a contribution to cater for refreshments for their female colleagues to thank them for their positive input and contribution to the school and to their families,” Head of Language Department Rajnesh Lingham said.

Mr Lingham highlighted to the male staff that women were the architects of the society and to ensure that women’s day was celebrated everyday by sharing voices and photos of women they knew, admired and supported.
