The town of Rakiraki came alive yesterday when burly Vodafone Flying Fijian and Crusaders wing Nemani Nadolo came with a team of relief workers as they loaded supplies to be taken to cyclone victims in the Ra highlands.
Nadolo, who had emotionally voiced his concerns after the destruction caused by Cyclone Winston, had indicated on social media that he would return home to visit the victims.
During a fundraising drive with the Crusaders, the Namatakula native from Nadroga, when interview stated that, “it’s been a tough week trying to focus on rugby when there has been so much devastation back home.”
