Rubbish Shame

To the vehicle driver of a white Kia who was called out for throwing rubbish in the Walu Bay creek: You are a disgrace.

Maybe publishing your car registration number to name and shame you should teach you a lesson. But, we shall do even better and lodge a complaint with the anti-litter team so that you are suitably taken to task.

Parking post

Gorrie Street in Suva is meant to be a two-lane street and not one lane which causes drivers a lot of grief. People had stopped parking vehicles along the street, but then cars started parking right in front of the Police post which led to more people parking along the street.

And, yes, it’s the same set of cars. Whoever it is, should stop this right now in the interests of fellow road users.

Lost Landing

Oh dear. The Australian chopper carrying some journalists to Ra seemed to have landed in the wrong ground and had blown over makeshift sheds.

And, that’s not all. The second chopper in which the Aussie Foreign Minister was travelling followed suit and also landed in the wrong area. Some needed to dash to the place where she landed to welcome her.
