Still At No. 1

Vodafone Fijian Sevens playmaker Kitione Taliga was yesterday named the DHL Impact Player of the Vancouver Sevens Tournament. The performance tracker recorded that the Dratabu native from Nadi made 13 tackles, nine line-breaks, five offloads, 26 carries and scoring seven tries.

Taliga stood in for injured Vatemo Ravouvou and made his mark in the Las Vegas final against Australia and again in Vancouver where they finished fourth.

The Vodafone Fijians still lead the World Sevens Series points table with 106 points closely followed by South Africa with 105 and New Zealand at third spot with 104.
