Changes have been made to this year’s Fiji Secondary Schools Coca-Cola Games schedule.

Fiji Secondary Schools Association general secretary, Vuli Waqa said the change is that competition would start on Thursday, April 21, from 4pm to 8pm.

“This is the first time such change has been made however the official opening ceremony of the Games will remain on Friday,” Waqa said of the Games, which will be from April 21 to 23.

He said the change was made to make things easier for the two-day event.

“The games will be open to the public and tickets will be sold at $5 dollars for both embankment and grounds,” he said. Waqa said he would not disclose any more information about the Thursday events.

He reiterated that there would be no changes to the dates of the Games unless anything comes from the Ministry of Education.
