The Telecom Fijian Warriors should expect bone crushing tackles from the Tongans in today’s World Rugby Pacific Challenge clash at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

This was after Tongan A coach, Isa Fatani, told SUNsports yesterday that the only way to stop the Warriors was through hard hitting tackles.

“We all know that Fiji is the best team in the tournament,” he said.

“They are very fast and are very hard to stop when they are on attack. The only way to stop them is to give them hard hitting tackles.”

Fatani confirmed they have made two late changes after halfback Sefo Ma’ake and flanker Tupou Ahonie’e were ruled out because of injuries. He was impressed with his young player’s performance during the tournament.

“We have brought in these local players from home. Most of these boys are participating for the first time in a high level competition like this. I’m very happy with their performance.

“This is a great learning experience for them especially when they come out of Tonga,” he added. The match kicks-off at 6pm.
