Fiji Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) together with MH (Carpenters Group) yesterday contributed $24,500 towards the Prime Minister’s National Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Fund through their Saqamoli Drive.

FBC chief executive officer Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this was the third time for FBC to partner with MH in such an initiative.

“We only facilitated the process and we acknowledge the public for their support,” Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said.

MH also collected beddings, food, clothes and other necessities.

FBC had placed two empty water tanks at MHCC and FBC office in Suva and members of the public were invited to drop a dollar coin (saqamoli) into the tank during their 2016 Saqamoli Drive.
